How you will be evaluated
To receive the professional certificate of completion, you must obtain 80 percent passing on each module exam and the comprehensive final exam as well as complete the clinical practicum. Faculty may use other formative evaluation requirements such as case studies and course participation. Contact hour record or academic credit will be based on scores from the following:
- Module exams (200 points total)
- Practicum project presentation on a legal, ethical, or critical care concept: 20 points (posted to the discussion forum topic)
- Class participation: 50 points
- Comprehensive final exam: 100 points
There are a total of 370 possible points. Letter grades, based on a percentage of your total points, will be awarded according to Indiana University’s grading policy.
