Undergraduate Scholarships

The IU School of Nursing in Indianapolis (IUPUI) administers over $700,000 in scholarships annually to aid undergraduate and graduate nursing students in paying for their education. Scholarships are usually awarded based on financial need in conjunction with academic performance and potential for future success.  Scholarship applications are available online from late January through mid May each year.

Some scholarships target nursing students who are at a specific point in their studies (e.g., junior year, nurse practitioner program, or returning adult student, etc.). Some also look at leadership, extracurricular involvement, community service or special other criteria.  As you prepare your personal statement, it will be critically important that you address the specific criteria of each scholarship.  You may only need to prepare one personal statement that will apply to all of the scholarships for which you apply.  (You have the option of submitting a separate personal statement in the event that you apply for a scholarship that has very specific or detailed criteria.)

To be eligible for scholarship consideration, you must be registered for classes for the upcoming fall 2008 semester by the time you submit your application materials. (Exceptions must be approved by the Scholarship Coordinator.)

To quickly navigate to the listing of scholarships for which you may be eligible to apply, choose from the following list:
