Angela Barron McBride Endowed Professorship in Mental Health Nursing

 

Indiana University School of Nursing is seeking qualified candidates for the Angela Barron McBride Endowed Professor in Mental Health Nursing. The McBride Professor will join a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to forward-looking research and collaborative practice with nurse scientists and researchers in the Center for Enhancing Quality of Life in Chronic Illness (CEQL) and the Mary Margaret Walther Program for Behavioral Oncology Research. The McBride Professor will establish innovative educational offerings and a program of scholarship in which doctoral and post-doctoral students and faculty receive state-of-the-science training in behavioral mental health nursing research.

Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing. The successful applicant will have a record of scholarship suitable for a senior tenure-track position and appointment as a tenured full professor. Research focus

Research Assistant, Gastric Tube Placement
 

A research assistant is needed for the study “Gastric Tube Placement in Young Children.” This person will recruit patients, obtain informed consent, place gastric tubes, test tube placement, and collect other data. He/she must have a current Indiana nursing license. Pediatric or newborn experience is preferred. Salary: $20/hr. for an RN and $17/hr. for a LPN. The successful candidate must commit to working 10 hours every Wednesday.
