Flex Space—Beds
The flex space contains 10 patient cubicles designed to simulate a realistic acute care environment. The state-of-the-art beds, donated by Hill-Rom Industries, assist students in integrating into the hospital environment. Some of the beds boast clinical mattress integration and FlexAfoot™ mechanism for bed sore control. The beds can also help assist turning patients, and some are able to go from a flat to a sitting position for patient transport.
