Research in Palliative and End-of-Life Communication and Training (RESPECT) Center
RESPECT Center faculty work to improve the care of patients with serious and terminal illness through a focus on enhancing communication through their own work and in collaboration with colleagues. The Center brings together interdisciplinary expertise from across the IUPUI campus in key areas such as ethics, communication, nursing, medicine, psychology and public health. Center activities include developing and conducting interdisciplinary palliative and end-of-life research; supporting the development of new ideas; and developing new partnerships for translation into practice.

Resource Center for Innovation in Clinical Nursing Education
The RCICNE is a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art clinical/simulation area with video capture and broadcast capabilities. The Center has 4 debriefing rooms as well as 4 simulation rooms with a central control room. It also features 6 exam rooms and has 10 hospital cubicles in an open instructional space. It includes a state-of-the-art classroom, 2 computer labs, storage, a faculty workroom, and 3 offices.
