Bill Fischer

Like many students, Bill Fischer chose the School of Nursing because of its impressive reputation. But as a nontraditional student–a male in his 50s–he was apprehensive.
“I was concerned about the reaction of female patients to a male nurse,” he says. Although he has dealt with challenging patients, he discovered that ultimately, the challenge is rewarding.
